Rocksteady Video

‘Rocksteady’ embraces the garage-punk sound that the Bloody Beetroots are so famously

known for – rock infused exploding beats and vigorously energetic electro house. Keeping in

theme, the suitably rock ‘n’ roll video, directed by Wyatt Neumann, makes its debut June 28,

just two days after the single is released. Sir Bob talks about his experience on set “You know

what, my brain does not collect recent data but last week I was in Death Valley and it was mad

fun! Girls, Shotguns, 70’s muscle cars, Dust…Nice!”

This pretty much says it all. Check the new Rocksteady vid!

ROCKSTEADY

Hot damn, Sir Cornelius Bob Rifo is a man of many names but I’m still pretty sure he doesn’t need any introductions. Any how, The Beetroot dude just released a new song and it’s up for stream on SoundCloud and buy on iTunes. Grab a copy if you fancy! I know I do.

Fuck, this tune is epic. Really, have a listen. I should shut up already but I can’t. Total bomb!

Haydn Hoffman

You heard the name Haydn Hoffman? He’s this amazing South-Californian producer who has made some insane remixes of big names like Chrome, The Bloody Beetroots and Le Castle Vania. These following tunes have gotten some praise around the blogosphere. I highly recommend these tunes : )

The Bloody Beetroots – New Noise (Haydn Hoffman Remix)

Chromeo – Fancy Footwork (Haydn Hoffman Remix)

Le Castle Vania – Zero Machine (Haydn Hoffman Remix)

Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo

Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, maybe the most awesome name ever. If not that, he’s still one hell of a guy. In case you didn’t realize who he is, you might be more familiar with the name The Bloody Beetroots. If you still don’t recognize him, then GTFO and study some Dim Mak killer electro!

I just happen to have two tracks of bloody dance floor killing tunes, 320kbps pure aural love for you guys to download, enjoy!

R3set

Once again I’m blogging some french house  :) R3set is a duo coming from Strasbourg (France duh) and clearly, they’ve got some influence from the big names like Justice, Danger and Haezer. I’ve posted their D.A.N.C.E remix already earlier but this time they sent me a remix and some original tunes! I’m amazed with their Bloody Beetroots-like sawtooth and awesome synths.

Press Start has some nice chopped vocal lines and I really like the way they use the stutter on the synths meanwhile.

Press Start (Short Edit)

Next track, Rapture! Awright, you might think that you’ve heard this before. Wrong, this version was mixed LIVE! Yeah, live. The compressed beat in the back with the sawtooth sidechained makes me wanna party.

Rapture (Live Edit)

Just like in Rapture, this has also a nicely sidechained beat. It’s a really good remix of a good tune already, but R3set takes it a bit higher. A total mood lifter.
