Okay now since it has been a while since my last post, I figured I should do a small post compiled with some tracks that were sent to my inbox lately. Being the lazy ass as always, I haven’t posted these earlier but that’s okay, since bangers don’t get old!

First tune, F.O.O.L uploaded this yesterday on SoundCloud and it’s a free download! It’s a darkish with some murky electro bass lines. You know Rasmus, never fails to deliver!

DSKOTEK is a fella I haven’t featured here before which is actually a bit sad, since he’s really great. This newest tune has it’s influences from this guy we all love. Listen to it, and if you didn’t figure it out already, Skrillex. Epic song!

NEUS made a remix for StereoHeroes’ Long Shot remix contest. For some reason I don’t know, he’s giving it out free which is kinda cool. Wish Blatta and Inesha would’ve done the same, love their remix too.

Never been a fan of Jamiroquai (this is how it’s written ‘aight?) but IKKI made a sweet banger out of his Supersonic. Definitely a tune you should download!

Haezer just gave out his Anarchy! out on his Facebook page, so even tho this is an old tune, I’ll post this up again. You want it. Tomorrow he’ll up the stems for it so emerging producers, go like him on Facebook and give it a try, Imma post your remix if you send it it’s any good : )

If ya don’t know Haezer, he’s this cool guy who released his Who The Fuck Is Haezer first for free on Death Electro around a year or two ago and on Beatport an year ago. He was one of the first electronic names I fell in love with and no wonder, his tunes are epic. He also produced a beat for the Africaan rapper Jack Parow. I’ll include the vid for it and an old F.O.O.L remix of Anarchy just ’cause I’m cool and I raw ya!

Noize Generation Interview!

Jewgeni Grischbowski also known as Noize Generation is the next generation young music wizard from Germany and I had the delight to do a small interview with him!

STD: Hey, thanks for doing this interview! So, let’s start off with the basics, for how long have you considered yourself as an artist?

NG: I’ve been producing music since the spring of 2009, but I have played drums in a few rock bands before that.

STD: Sick, do you have any musical education?

NG: Nah, I’ve taught myself, I’m an autodidact =)

STD: So you had a remix competition going on, right? Did you get a lot of good submissions?

NG: Yeah, Monster EP will be released on Kiez Beat and I had a remix competition going on for it, Feedback won the contest with his entry and it’ll be on the EP! I did get crazy lot of submissions and my inbox was was about to explode haha.

STD: Any big gigs coming up?

NG: Yeah, I’ll be spinning decks with F.O.O.L in Malmö the 18th day of december so make sure to be there!

STD: Sweet, I don’t wanna miss that! Is there any artists you’d like to work with?

NG: Spoek Mathambo is definitely one name, his vocals are sick! I just remixed a track that Audiodidakt made with him and I had a lot of fun working on the vocals. It’ll be released next month I guess.

STD: So apart from playing at mad rave parties and making some slick electro bass lines, what do you do all your days?

NG: I’m still warming the school bench =)

STD: Do you have any bangers you like to play live?

Haha my Swedish sucks but the title is supposed to say that Stygg is AWESOME! Stygg itself means naughty so it’s a pretty descriptive nickname they’ve chosen. They’re dirty, Swedish and make punkish electro. Imba F.O.O.L Remix!

Don’t you ever dare to say that F.O.O.L’s remixes are boring. Their main remix of the Island just came out today and it’s a club destroyer with the distorted synths and killer beats that you’re used to hear from these two Swedish chaps. This is the best Pendulum remix I’ve heard yet, definitely might even win!

Now this is fresh, I heard some rumors yesterday that F.O.O.L would release their first remix of Pendulum’s The Island today, so I’ve waited all day for this : )

Now it’s here, came out an hour ago and they’re giving it out for free! This is the alternative remix, they’ll also do another remix to be their official track they’ll use to participate in the contest, never the less, I’d vote for this!

I guess most of you aren’t familiar with SoundCloud, but basically it’s a place where artists can upload their track and spread them out on blogs etc with its smart mediaplayer. It’s a place where even I get spammed in the inbox with tracks which is actually quite nice (= just keep them tracks coming. These tracks I’ll show you today are my newest finds on SoundCloud *cracks knuckles* awright, let’s get started! DJ Barletta Barletta will be my first artist tonight. He’s no new boy and I just realized that Dani has actually posted his tracks seventeen times on her blog ;o few times on El3ctroNight and even on Trashbags Kids. Quite popular, wouldn’t you say? His remix of The Island pt.2 caught my attention, since I didn’t realize that you can actually remix drum’n bass into fidget. But so he did and it’s awesome.

Pendulum – The Island pt.2 (Barletta Edit)

Second track is a very laidback remix of Katy Perry’s California Girls. Compared to the original, I gotta say that the remix beats it 100-0 and unlike the original, Barletta’s edit doesn’t sound like Ke€ha’s Tik Tok. Extra points to Barletta for keeping the Snoop Dog rap in the track =)

I remember when I made my first MySpace account, he wanted to befriend me there <3 it was like my first friend request there and I remember him only having remixes made of bands like AC/DC, Metallica etc. other metal bands. Now his tracks are a tad different from what they were then and I gotta say that I love this buy! Pope of Dope was already originally a great track but I love Ikki’s remix even more. The sidechaining makes a nice bumpy feeling and did I say that love the clap?
