Drug Abuse Remix!

The official competition has begun and the rules are pretty simple.

BetatraXx is offering you the chance to remix his newest releases, Drug Abuse. Simply download one or more of the stems and get working on your remix. Once you’re happy with your remix, simply upload it to the soundcloud page and encourage your friends to vote and comment on your entry on Soundcloud. The more favorites and comments the better your chances!

From the top rated remixes BetatraXx will pick one favorite to be distributed on Gotta Dance Dirty and all of their subscribers, be considered for an official label release on Beatport, as well as have the option to open for him and another headliner (Pance Party and Valerna were the last headliners) at his next Chromatic event.

Not Another Justice Remix

Maybe it’s just me being drunk (just got home from the bar =D) but this new BetaTraXx remix is kinda awesome. Actually, it’s beyond kinda awesome, it rules. And like the title implies, it’s not your average Justice remix.

Tim aka BetaTraxx sent me a promotional copy of his newest album, Foxtrot, and man I love these tracks. Foxtrot reminds me remotely of Polish guy She‘s work, maybe it’s the way Tim used the vocals sung by Kendahl Gold. The animation was made by Anthony Mai and if you ask me, the vid fits in the mood of the song. But you should tell me what you like about the video and/or the song.

Anyways, it’s available at least on Beatport and if you dig (why did I say if? Maybe when would be more appropriate) I strongly suggest you to purchase it =)

Samwise is here showing you some more love from the other side of the ocean, this time in the form of BetaTraxx aka. RedLight! Yeah, he’s the same guy whose album I posted earlier here, so that should be an excuse good enough for you to get all excited! This guy is pimp enough to just follow one guy on SoundCloud and still has over 600 followers himself, how awesome is that? I feel obligated to write some nice words about each track, but it’s like half past three in the morning so I might be kinda short-worded.

First track is a remix of The Bloody Beetroot’s Warp. I know, you’ve seen millions of remixes of that track and they’re all almost the same. Except for this one! I just simply love the sliding bassline and the way he demonized Sophies Whoops in the first lift. A sure bomb!

Everyone loves Deadmau5, don’t they? Even the most sworn enemies of electronic music loves the Mouse at least secretly. And what do you get when you combine good with great? An awesome remix, that is! BetaTraxx’s remix of Some Chords is pure gold.

I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again. I hate mainstream and yes, I do include David Guetta. I can’t stand it when all the teengirls ‘n boys go all wild about his newest tunes on MTV and stuff. But once again, Mr. Beta knows how to make the tunes listenable and therefore I can proudly feature them here. There’s been a lot of Love Don’t Let Me Go remixes but I find this one as one of the bests so far.
